Mango Plugins
This website is powered by Mango Blog, a free ColdFusion blogging platform. The author had the foresight to add the ability to create plugins which can be added to Mango to extend and enhance its functionality. As a developer, I can write my own plugins and make them available to the Mango community at large. As I write new plugins that do various things, I will make them available here. If you have an idea for a Mango plugin, please leave a comment below and I'll see what I can do, though I can't make any promises. Enjoy!
AddRatings
This plugin will add five-star rating capability to your posts courtesy of AddRatings.com. Their service is in need of some modernizing, but this is by far the fastest and easiest way to get ratings added to your posts. Just activate this plugin and ratings will magically appear below your posts. Yes, it's basic. I was planning to write a more advanced rating plugin which does not require an outside service, but there will be one released by the author of Mango Blog when version 1.5 is released, so stay tuned for that.
